Sarah Kerestes

Sarah headshotSarah received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta, and her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland. Sarah uses primarily a manual therapy (hands-on) approach with complimentary exercises to best help her clients. She views the body as a whole system rather than just individual pieces and deeply values an integrative approach to combine skills/modalities to help each individual. She has a special interest in helping people heal from stubborn chronic injuries and long term compensation patterns. Sarah has a special interest in helping those with Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders restore function and manage the complexities of the condition.

The element Sarah relates to most is earth. It is grounding and steadfast, providing a nurturing path for growth and exploration. Sarah aims to reflect these healing qualities in her practice.

Outside the Office

Outside of the physio world you can most likely find Sarah reading, making jewelry, or hanging out in her garden. As a former member of the Canadian Kayak Polo team you may also find her occasionally coming out of retirement to play in some cool world-class tournaments.
